In 2021, I joined Monterey High with the goal of creating a boys lacrosse program. This required developing a lacrosse culture on campus, organizing all purchases; from gear to jerseys, and recruiting student athletes. With the support of the school district and administration, MHS lacrosse was born.

In our first season we fielded a 27 man Varsity roster and completed our inaugural season with a record of 4-8! Check out this story the Monterey Herald did on our program.

In our second year, we have almost doubled with 44 students rostering not only a Varsity team but a JV team! Our mission as coaches is to “Empower students to be the best version of themselves while using lacrosse as a platform.” Our growth is fueled by our commitment to our mission statement. We no longer need to recruit, kids flock to the culture and community that we have made.
